Session attendance information

ITiCSE 2022 looks forward to welcoming all presenters and other attendees, whether they will be attending in person or remotely.

The ITiCSE 2022 program is designed to offer a full conference experience to people attending in person, while also accommodating remote attendees as well as possible within the constraints of their varied time zones and online presence.

Some sessions have been designated as remote sessions; these have been specifically selected to best suit the various time zones of their remote presenters. All sessions not specifically labelled as remote are in-person sessions. However, there is some flexibility in these notions, and there will be some remote presentations in in-person sessions and some in-person presentations in remote sessions.

All sessions will take place in physical rooms at UCD in Dublin. Regardless of whether the presenters are remote or in person, people attending the conference in person will be able to attend any session.

Likewise, all sessions will include a Zoom presence. Regardless of whether the presenters are remote or in person, people attending the conference remotely will be able to attend any session.

In every session, the session chair will control the timing and moderate the questions. We anticipate that for both remote and in-person presentations, people in the room will be able to ask their questions by voice, and these will be heard by the remote audience. We also hope that it will be possible for remote audience members to ask questions by voice, so long as it is practical for the chair to moderate questions both from within the room and over Zoom.
