UCD strives to be an inclusive University and values everyone’s participation. If you have any dietary or accessibility requirements that may need to be facilitated kindly inform us in advance of the event.
Accessible WC and gender-neutral facilities are located to your left as you walk into the UCD Computer Science building. Additionally, there are gender-neutral toilets in the O’Brien Centre for Science on the second floor (H2.28 and H2.29). If you enter the Hub via the bridge from Science East, you can find them by turning right and then at the end of the lobby taking another right at the door beside Theatre C. The two bathrooms are at the end of the corridor and have gender-neutral signage on each door.
For facilities elsewhere on campus please see the UCD Estates Campus map.
Breastfeeding facilities are available near the venue (https://www.ucd.ie/equality/support/breastfeedingfacilities/). Please contact Catherine (catherine.mooney@ucd.ie) if you need help with access.
There is a Contemplation Room in St. Stephen’s Chaplaincy and there is also a church on campus (Our Lady’s Seat of Wisdom Church). If you need help finding either of these please contact Catherine (catherine.mooney@ucd.ie).
A “quiet room” will also be available in the UCD Computer Science building during the conference for anyone who would like to take a bit of time out, and/or not engage in social interactions, etc., for a while during the conference. The quiet room (B108 (CS)) is in the Computer Science building. When you come into the building go up the stairs on your right, then turn right and the room is through the double doors on your left. Please contact Catherine (catherine.mooney@ucd.ie) if you have any problems finding the room.
UCD is known for its parkland setting and mature landscaping, with over 8km of woodland paths. If you have time, please feel free to enjoy: UCD Woodland Walks
