Welcome to the 32nd Annual ACM Conference on Innovation and Technology in Computer Science Education (ITiCSE). The ITiCSE conference is sponsored by the ACM Special Interest Group on Computing Education (SIGCSE), in collaboration with the ACM Europe Council, and Informatics Europe. ITiCSE 2027 will take place at the University of Glasgow, Glasgow, Scotland.
Welcome to Glasgow
Glasgow is Scotland’s largest city and one of the United Kingdom’s leading centres for culture, education, and innovation. Located on the banks of the River Clyde, it combines a rich industrial heritage with a vibrant contemporary atmosphere, renowned for its Victorian architecture, world-class museums, thriving music scene, and warm hospitality.
The city is home to several universities and research institutions, making it an ideal setting for an international academic conference. Visitors can enjoy Glasgow’s many museums, galleries, restaurants, cafés, and cultural venues, while the city’s excellent air, rail, and public transport connections make it easy to reach and explore. For example, stunning train and coach journeys northward from the city centre take you quickly into the beautiful lochs, highlands and islands of Scotland. Just to make it all even more attractive!
Conference venue
The ITiCSE 2027 conference is hosted by the University of Glasgow, founded in 1451 and one of the world’s leading research-intensive universities. The University combines a long tradition of academic excellence with modern facilities, welcoming students and researchers from more than 140 countries.
The conference is organised by academics from the School of Computing Science and will be held in the James McCune Smith Learning Hub, the University’s state-of-the-art learning and teaching facility. Located in Glasgow’s vibrant West End, the venue is easily accessible by public transport and within walking distance of many cafés, restaurants, museums, and attractions.
